Why are some people such stuck up twats?

Ok. I don't really mean some people here, I am quite certain who I would like to talk about. But, naming no names, *COUGH* Thomas Log________ *COUGH* is my organic lab technician, and I just had a half-argument with him. I KNEW I was right, but he thought he was right and he was bluffing and uttering all kinds of rubbish. The situation was, I didn't go to labs yesterday because I hadn't gotten my timetable. But he said that various people and named like pretty much everyone in the chemistry department had sent me an email two weeks ago with my timetable in it. So I told him there must have been some mistake because I didn't receive such emails, (I think I would have noticed if 3 people sent me exactly the same email like he depicted). And to be honest, I didn't even enrol on the course until a week ago, so he was just talking crap!!!

He just likes to be in control, always right, when he is completely wrong and he is just treating me like crap because I am repeating first year. Fine. I may have failed last year so I have had to repeat, but that doesn't mean that he has any right to treat me like a retard! GAH I AM SO ANGRY O_O. I haven't been this stressed out in a while, and all the time he had this stupid grin on his face and it really took most of my energy to refrain from smacking him one. Grr. -_-;;. *rant over*

he sounds like a jerk :( i hate people like that. I was actually in a similar situation on my year abroad in Germany, i was feeling really lost and scared the first few weeks and i had some troubles at the dorm, and the girl at reception was yelling at me and i ended up crying, while she had this stupid smile on her face!! so sadistic. :( Are you sure this guy isnt German? and ive noticed your mood is "joy", do you just not change your journal moods anymore? i hardly change them nowadays, mainly because it takes so long to load :lol:

People at uni can be so messing. In my uni we had similar problems, but with security. If the financial department happened to have a problem and for some reason happened to think you hadnt paid your fee, then your id card wouldnt work and the guards who have known you for the past 3 years would treat you like a criminal. And dont get me started on my German teacher, she made our lives difficult and kicked people off the course and made others cry. In Chinese there is a phrase, to make someone die of anger. These kind of people just make you die of anger! :angry:

That is really weird of the university guards T_T;;! That is so mean of your german teacher too! YES!! LAU SEI OR LA!! ANGRY ME TILL I DIE XD. University is so different from the schools, nobody really cares about you at all to be honest.

(._.);; yeah he is German LOL. I don't mean to be racist, but both the german people I know are sadistic bastards and enjoy torturing people. I'm not saying that all germans are like this, I'd just like to meet a nice one to change my viewpoint. Yeah ^^;; I wasn't joy...kekeke I jsut didn't change them lol.

really?? :lol: i totally understand what you mean, Germans are like that. i know because my grandma is German!!:blush: its no wonder seeing how cruel they were during the war; the japanese were the same, but japanese seem to be really shy and quite apologetic, as if they still feel guilty, but Germans seem to behave like nothings really happened, really proud and stuck up :lol: never apoligizing for anything, always thinking theyre right :lol: i only have 2 German friends who dont behave like Germans - really lovely guys :)

hehe, your so right there :) its like all they care about is getting your money. At school, although they didnt treat us like adults much, at least they talked to us if there was any problems with our work or told our parents if needs be. While my German teacher was an evil baroness, i had the sweetest Chinese teacher, a really smiley, friendly sweet lady :) everybody loved her, even when we made mistakes shed smile and very gentle.

YES I AGREE! Actually in sixth form I was quite treated like an adult, but then again...being treated like an adult sucks it just means you cannot afford to make any more mistakes and nobody really gives a shit about you if you fail :(. I prefer being cared for as a student ^^;...

Ok (._.);; I would phrase it maybe as "A lot of Germans I know seem to be like that". I wouldn't want to stereotype people ^^; that's just racist. Unless it's good stereotyping =P like japanese people are polite and chinese girls are pretty WAKAKAKA XD. Then again, if you bring up the war, the japanese were very cruel when they needed to be and I doubt those in charge were shy and apologetic. So, you can't really summarize them like that ^^;. I am sure there were many Germans who did not feel good killing like that...
I'm glad you have two german friends who are really nice though. Please don't say "They don't behave like Germans" though ^^;; it just seems really racist? No offence...

im really sorry i didnt mean it to come out like that at all. i didnt realise you would be so angry and upset with me, sorry. what i meant was a lot of the germans i know are like that. and i didnt mean that the japanese are better in anyway. its just that the japanese i know behave very polite and shy, and the germans i do know dont. Nevermind.
